Kindergarten Beliefs

My teaching and classroom practices are based on some simple beliefs:
I believe that children learn in unique and diverse ways.
I believe that affective, physical, and cognitive growth go hand in hand.
I believe all content areas develop simultaneously through a learning environment constructed to reflect the real world.
I believe Kindergarten establishes the foundation for life-long learning.
I believe Kindergarten is the child’s introduction to the larger world.
I believe children learn best when home and school form a meaningful partnership.
